    Nice, this looks like it would barely fit in my garage. I've been considering a MaxJax but it's hard to pull the trigger after the price increase to almost 4k. Where did you order the Atlas from?

    I installed an Atlas 8,000lb two-post asymmetric lift. The price was around $2,200 and the product is very solid, well built, and is perfect for hobby/home use. It lifts my 5,000 lb X5 35d with ease.

    BendPak was not worth the premium in my opinion.

    So I ended up following Ian's path and got a 4 post lift as well as a set of quickjacks. Very happy with my purchase - right now the '16 M3 in the pic is gone and it's replaced with a '04 M3 donor that's almost completely stripped for my full metal slicktop M3 wagon project.

    Anyone ever see one of these in person. They lift to height of 6' and are not attached to the floor, so they are supposedly somewhat portable. Link to lift in use. http://www.finkbeiner-lifts.com/deutsch/kfz/video/fhb.mov
