OBD2 bluetooth dongle adapter stopped connecting after CSL tune Flash, need help

Recently installed csl airbox and flash ecu with Csl tune, all is working great but recently I noticed that my obd2 Bluetooth dongle which was paired with my Avin unit, using Torque app to monitor coolant temps and other things ect, stopped connecting to dme, connection cannot be established anymore. I know there was a topic about this on the m3forum, Does anyone now how to fix this or do I need to get different type of adapter?. This was once feature of the AVIN unit that I actually constantly used specially when doing track days.

The stock CSL software can only communicate with some machines-- others it has trouble with. So, hit and miss... and it sounds like your dongle is a miss. That said, your tuner should be able to move over the non CSL OBD2 communication portion of the program to the CSL firmware, at which point you can talk to all machines, like stock.

Hey thanks for info. I have the dongle that Avin provides with their units, Hassan did my tune have to ask him if he can do that. which dongle are you using? I saw you running Avin as well. Thanks

        Also Avin’s included one.

So, Moving OBD2 communication portion of the program to the CSL firmware should definitely resolve this issue, since you are using the same adapter and is running fine. Great help Thanks again !!

I'm not convinced any tuner actually does this. Maybe NickG, but last I heard, he does not have a complete disassembly of the CSL software.

You are definitely right about this one, Hassan does not have it neither at the moment. Will try to source something from his partners, will see if that works.
