    Fabspeed O2 spacers with cats

Trying to finalize my set up and came across these O2 spacers with cats. Anyone using or know anyone who has tried these? Reviews are positive, but limited.

Pelican is showing a 45 degree version available as well.

You will be so much cheaper, when you solve your „problem“ within the tune, than with these funky looking lambda spacers.

On top, I don’t think these work as advertised. Because the exhaust gases are not flowing through (dead end with no exit)
    …under construction.

I know the tune will disable the lambda sensor but I’m concerned about monitors showing ‘ready’ when it comes time to test.

Trying to avoid getting into the predicament of flashing back to stock and swapping parts. Especially since the ECU will lock out after being flashed a certain number of times.

Correct me if I’m wrong on that and/or the way I’m interpreting the O2 sensor being disabled by a tune as it relates to monitor status.

You could extend your sensors if you have a section 1 that allows for O2/EGT.
You don't have to cut/splice wiring, you do however need to run the post cat O2's/EGT down the driver's side of the engine and this requires slicing the loom open and pulling the wires. To avoid that you can buy a Euro wiring harness plug and play, no modification necessary.

Here is the wiring harness, however I am unsure if this is the US or Euro version.

        Ssv1/Catted Sec. 1/SS 2.5" Sec. 2/SCZA

        OE CSL Bootlid/AS SSK/BC Coils/4.10 Gears/ Sportline 8S Wheels/Cobra Nogaros

More I read, more I’m convinced I should just drop the extra coin for a different section 1. Most likely will do the euro version and extend the sensors.

Thanks for the info and link.

Seems you've already made your mind but just putting my experience for posterity. I have these exact spacers that I used on my Z4M, used them for about a year (~5 months of actual driving in Canada-land accounting for winter storage) between my header install and CSL airbox because I didn't want to have to buy a tune twice.

It was a bit challenging positioning these because they're rather sizable, but once they were in they worked as advertised. Not once did I get a CEL. Had a friend do the same thing with eBay versions of the same design - they were significantly smaller than the Fabspeed spacers. They still worked but he said they tripped a light a couple times but worked 80% of the time, though he paid significantly less for his.

All that said, I think you're making the right choice in doing things the right way (either getting a tune or extending the sensors with euro headers).
