    VinceSkinz

I am considering the VinceSkinz along with an epoxy/rivet Vince Bar. I know that when installing weld in plates all cracks need to be stop drilled and welded. Anyone know if the cracks will have to welded when using VinceSkinz, or will the stop drilling, epoxy, and skinz be sufficient? I am hoping to entirely avoid any welding.

    Thanks.

I would absolutely weld up any cracks.

      I emailed Vince:

      Vince,

I watched your VinceSkinz video. It was very helpful.

Do I understand correctly that any cracks that will be under the skinz need to be stop drilled but not welded? If this is correct then the price is quite reasonable since I wont have to hire someone to weld the cracks.

      Thanks again.

Yes, that’s correct. Obviously the cracks will need to be contained to the area under the VinceSkinz, and no gaps etc present.

My spider sense definitely says weld them, but I don't have any skills or training to base that feeling on. Certainly Vice is more qualified to know than I am.
