Best Shop/Mechanic in DC / MD / NoVA for Rear Subframe Reinforcement?

    Hi guys,

Wanted to know if you guys had any recommendations on the best/most reliable shop or mechanic to install a Vincebar and Redish V2 Plates in the Washington DC / Maryland / Northern VA area?

Any shops who have experience installing specifically the Vincebar and plates? Also assuming most shops use the welding method?

    Please let me know. Thanks.

I had York Automotive in Mt. Airy install Turner plates and Mason GTR. Also had them replace a bunch of bushings while the subframe was dropped.
Quality work, would go back there again. They should be able to handle the Vincebar

RRT is typically the big name in Sterling VA.

RRT uses the Turner plates by default- not sure if they can install the Redish plates too. I had them do my subframe reinforcement about a year ago.

RRT does very good work but very expensive.

Last time I asked for a quote from them was for a coilover install. It was $1500 just in labor for the install and alignment!

Never asked for a quote again.

That being said I know a ton of folks who use them and love the work.

Yea that's pricey for a coilover install. They must have been busy and just threw a number out there.

I had a bad experience with York awhile back. Someone managed to bend my camber plates when I had it there for an alignment.....

That sucks. Did you ask them to fix it?

What part of the camber plate bent? I’m having a hard time understanding how that could even happens.

Their alignment with corner balancing cost me approx $600. I’d imagine that was included in your quote.

It was. In my experience $600 for alignment and corner balance is 2x what it should cost.

Thanks for the responses guys. Has anyone had someone install a Vincebar?

Did you just have underside plates installed? Any top reinforcement?
