    Brake line angle

Hey guys, noob question. I torqued the banjo bolt for my Brembo caliper and noticed the brake line has this sharp angle towards the end. It’s only the driver front that does this.

Is this okay? Once torqued down it always twist to this angle. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to hold the line at whatever angle you want while tightening the banjo.

I tried but as soon as I fully tighten it, the line twists.

Do you think this is too harsh of an angle?

Id have to feel how much tension there is on the line. Hard to tell just from the angle.

Maybe try holding the line at the opposite side from where you want it then while its getting tightened it will end up at the correct spot?

I honestly don’t understand what’s going on where you can’t hold the line where it needs to be. Your using the crush washers on either side of the fitting right?

Thanks, I ended up holding it on the opposite side before tightening hoping it’ll twist to where I want it to go. This time it didn’t twist when tightening down lol. Weird. But this is less harsh of an angle for the line I think so I’ll keep it here.

          Thanks again!
