    DSC Bleeding

I have seen numerous posts that suggest if you want to bleed the ABS/DSC then you can simply drive on some wet gravel or ice, trigger ABS, then do a normal brake bleed.

So would it also follow that if you wanted a shop to do the brake bleed but they did not have DIS you could go through the DIS bleeding procedure before bringing it in and just not open the bleeder screws? Wouldn't that have the same effect?

You do not need DIS to do a bleed procedure. Any decent shop should have a scanner capable of doing this.

My Snap on scanner does it without issues and it's also much quicker than loading up inpa or other software. I'm sure Autel and Autologic scanners have the capability as well.
