Looking for recommendations on trans fluids for forced induction applications. A while ago, before going FI, I had a LTW single mass flywheel and an unsprung clutch disk. The rattling noise it naturally made bothered me. I started using a mixture of 2/3 Redline Heavyweight Shockproof and 1/3 Lightweight Shockproof gear oils. It did help considerably with noise but I was also told it would shorten the life of the trans in the long run.
At this point, I do not care about clutch rattle noises. With the added stress on the trans from a turbo, I am looking for whichever fluid is going to be best for the health of the trans.
