Had a couple of goes at it. On our most successful attempt, we were 30 minutes ahead of pace until mile 2450 (out of ~2700)-- where we hit a traffic jam.
These days the pace is just too crazy. Not going to try again. I do regret not giving it a go at the beginning of covid. But, had a newborn, as did my co driver.Last edited by Obioban; 10-12-2026, 11:23 AM.

No joke, waze really can't handle long distance (1000+ mile) drives. You must break it up into stages if you want it to not glitch out.Originally posted by Flow View Post

The whole thing is an endeavor, so kudos for making the run more than once. I'd love to do it, but I am too chicken shit to be doing 150mph stints to achieve a competitive MPH average. Also the precautions that go into these runs nowadays is crazy! It's like a whole team affair type thing.Originally posted by Obioban View Post

I would actually love to do my own "tourist" version of the Bandit Run, haha.2006 E46 M3 Interlagos Blue ZCP SlicktopBuild Thread: https://nam3forum.com/forums/forum/m...6-m3-ownership
