Tempted by the 63.5mm oversized section 2 and I'd be really tempted on a Street muffler with single wall race style tips. Was the street muffler deliberately left out Epoustouflant or just not popular enough to include? Any hope of custom specifying tip style? People here say Supersprint will do it but so far I've been unable to get ECS or Schmiedmann to order one for me.
I would assume it was a question of popularity. Regarding "secret" SKUs, I asked ECS to check. GBs aren't ideal for custom ordered products per experience as manufacturers benefits from economies of scale to pass along savings.

That said, I think the stock muffler may become a choke point at some NA bolt on power level (no dyno proof of this). When I took the Scorza muffler off my car, my plan was to just go with a stock muffler with larger tips. The moment I swapped to stock, I felt a power loss. I went from that to SuperSprint Street to keep the stock like sound levels, but with the Scorza power levels-- which it did. My SS Street is not oversized.

Nothing I've said in this post is backed up by any dyno data, just my butt dyno.
Seeing how the internals of the stock muffler is laid out, I wouldn't be surprised if it were a choke point.
Hmm, for NA mods, I'm starting to think that maybe a stock Sec 2 with a SS muffler would be better than a oversized Sec 2 with stock muffler...

Yes. I will edit this on confirmed orders. For now, just pick the Header combo

I understand the surprise about not being able to buy headers individually. Statement around not selling emissions-defeating devices was not robust enough to lead readers to that conclusion.

However...holy hell less than $3,100 shipped for V1's with HJS-catted section 1 is unbelievable. Less than 5-grand for full SS system. OP has done well

I can't confirm either way, because I can't hear my exhaust over my airbox-- which is 100% how I desire it to be. The e46 M3 exhaust sounds terrible, always. The CSL Airbox makes the car sound like a McLaren F1. Easy choice

I may get just the 63.5 sec 2 (res.) and see what happens, that would be 2.5" front to back on my setup as the SCZA is 2.5".
Although I can't help but think that might be too much for a non-cammed NA car.
I know this subject keeps getting brought up but I think it's been more or less thought that even with airbox/ss headers/cams the SS 2.5" sec. 2 is still overkill. Decisions..

I went in for the full 63.5mm setup... if the sound isn't good I can just hang the SS section 2 on the wall and go back to OEM. #art

In this case, they are not. Euro headers exist and those are made by BMW. Also the name of the thread is "Interest in Supersprint V1 & V2 headers"
Many of us had an interest in headers. Other parts got lumped in but headers were the ENTIRE POINT of this GB.
