This is an enforcement notice to these companies and they have started acting, issuing a 3MM fine to a manufacturer in the industry per my discussions with Turner as of last Friday.
so, Turner/ECS is afraid of being fined for selling supersprint products and will probably stop selling them outright.

before they do that, they're going to run a large back door group buy on said products?
quit messing around man. everyone loves Supersprint products here, i've got all their stuff i want on my car already. your group buy is gonna do fine without you scaring people

If the oil companies were smart, they'd lobby against this but most don't see that far into the future. This is only a stepping stone to just banning cars.

The parts and components referred to in Paragraph 3.24 above, when installed in or on motor vehicles, bypass, defeat, or render inoperative devices or elements of design that motor vehicle and motor vehicle engine manufacturers employ to meet emission standards in regulations promulgated under CAA Title II, Subpart A, 42 U.S.C. §§ 7521–7554.
