Hey guys, put my name down for the weld in kit, I think?

I'm in Los Angeles, CA, trying to figure out if I should get the epoxy vs weld in kit. Will have to get a shop to install it. Do you guys know of a good shop in LA that has experience installing these along with Reddish V2 plates? Also, will I need to get the tooling kit if I have a shop install it?

I recently E-mailed Vince with the same question. This was his reply in a nutshell:

"My recommendation of VinceBar kit is the epoxy/rivet-in version of the simplified design.
Epoxy/rivet because it’s much less intrusive to the car, it avoids all the heat related issues related to welding, and it’s more DIY friendly.
Simplified design because it’s much easier and faster to install, and it’s still completely hidden and out of the way once the interior is back in."

I am also located in LA, however i'm planning to take my car to kaiv, He said he has installed a handful of these, however he's in SD. (he prefers to install the weld-in kit, which is why I went with that choice)

I called around locally and EAS in anaheim said they have not installed any.
Lang racing in Lake forest reported they have installed a few, however i found their pricing to be a bit steep for me.

How much shop time do y’all anticipate this would take? I guess I could take out the rear seats ahead of time.

~70% of the job is stripping coatings up top and down below to bare metal. Total job will probably run north of 10 hours. Seats are quick, but good to remove yourself so there is no damage, even if shop covers them up while working.
