Actually had some time to work on the M3 recently. I pulled it out of the garage 2 weeks ago after a long winter and there was coolant underneath it (and the light had come on). Turned out to be leaking from the aux fan switch sensor in the lower hose. I picked up a new hose and sensor and put them in along with fresh fluid. While on the lift I did an oil change and put in a new OE oil cooler. The old one was really beat up and I've been thinking about replacing it for some time. Next up is a brake fluid change the she should be ready to roll.
I'm not registered for any track events this year, but hope to get out to at least instruct. I've been putting off my brake project and I'm not really confident to run hard with the current rotors. I may just throw in some blanks so I can get in some laps.
    RIP M3F
