    IIRC the rarest factory combo was oxford green on mtexture with only 10 being ordered world wide. 6 LHD, 4 RHD. One of the 4 RHD ones is for sale atm on one of the japanese auction sites interestingly.
    Where are you getting these numbers, the website linked above only provides numbers for colors for me, and isn’t able to narrow it down to interior combinations, regardless if you select them.

Sub 1,000 miles brings the big ballers to the table. Does that car exist or is this hypothetical?

    Yeah M Tex and impulse would also be fine. Said car exists in the US. I posted some photos of it in the BAT thread a while back.

    Everyone always needs a purple or blurple M3, just like Imola and Cinnamon belong in every E46M. As for LSB, I feel like they were shooting for the iconic Avus Blue of E34M lore and just missed. I agree, too much green. That might be the one color where Cinnamon or Imola don't belong. Or maybe those interiors could save it. Ha!

    Laguna Seca blue in North America
    Coupe=1128
    Convertible=417

    Pheonix Yellow in North America
    Coupe=523
    Convertible=208

    And LSB are on BAT more frequently since one sold for 90k years ago. Now every LSB owner think their car will skyrocket too!!
    Well that explains my observation. I started looking for a PY back in 2010 and to this day there has always been 2-3x as many LSB for sale at a given time.

    I did too, until the 25,000$ CAD estimate showed up ahah.

    Funny you say that about Melbourne, it was the first M3 I ever test drove in 2011 and put a deposit on it. Ended up in a Space Grey - I was young, and shy? Whatever.

    I'm all about them flashy colors.
    It could be. LSB is definitely the more popular of the two colors and I could see how people want to be cool and drive one for a couple years then flip it. I've had my PY since September 2013 and most likely will own it for another 5 years ago. I used to like LSB a lot back in the day too but nowadays I feel like its a little too greenish for my taste and definitely prefer PY over it. BMW just has too many nice blues nowadays and I think Yas Marina would have been nicer on the E46 than LSB.

    I'm all about flashy colors too. Imola Z4M, PY E46 and IB '13 E92M 6spd comp. I need purple M next

    PY and cinnamon are great IMO, but not when they’re paired together. PY only deserves black lol.

    Idk if I could rock the McDonald’s theme. Kiwi or LSB would be neat tho.

Then you have lack of ZCP and rarity of late model cars where PY greatly suffers. Other colors with these specs do very well on bat. Good luck finding an 04-06 PY. You're basically left with a bunch of beat left over 01-02 high mileage cars which perform slightly worse than their poor performing LSB counterpart.

    And more LSBs trade hands on BAT in general, not necessarily at higher prices and not necessarily cream of the crop examples. Last two cars were super high mileage cars that were dumped on BAT and they happily listed them to make a profit. Is LSB worth more than PY? sure it is proven that it is. It is also easier to find for sale than PY. It has been that way for as long as I remember, despite production numbers. That is the only thing I'm trying to emphasize. If there are less LSBs in existence and trade hands more frequently than PY then does that mean PY owners are more happy with the color than LSB owners? You can interpret the data however you wants.
