A bit overdue for an update.

Before driving up to Monterey Car Week, my TPS sensor completely failed—which resulted in an EML light, and an intermittent limp-mode. The night before I was supposed to leave, I ordered a new TPS sensor to install as a Hail Mary; luckily everything worked out, and I was able to drive up the next day.

The car performed well throughout Car Week, it certainly took a beating. When I got back, I started the second round of ‘mods’/maintenance.

    - Squared rear Style-67 wheels
    - 265/35r18 squared Michelin Pilot 4S tires
    - 12mm spacers in rear
    - Height adjustment
    - Alignment
    - HTE dyno-tune
    - OE intake MAF sensor
    - Oil change

The car performed to my liking on the dyno, it seems considerably smoother post tune adjustment. I’m still learning the new limits of the squared MP4S tires in the canyons coming from the old staggered Hankook V12s on my squared CSL wheels. On previous M3s I rushed to 200TW tires immediately, but I’ve enjoyed taking a step back to work on my driving skills before running to a ‘cheater’ tire. I was able to comfortably lead a 991.1 GT3 & heavily modified S2000 on a Malibu canyon drive--even so, I know the car has a lot more in it with a new suspension, diff, and brake setup.

    Near future plans:

    - Rebuild rear axles (Hack engineering kit)
    - Rebuild rear diff, Drexler LSD (?), 3.91 FD (?)
    - AKG 95A diff bushings, fresh OE bolts/hardware
    - BimmerWorld spherical RTABs
    - BimmerWorld street camber arms
    - Inner camber arm bushings (OE)
    - Fresh rotors, fresh pads, SRF fluid
    - BimmerWorld stainless steel brake lines
    - Starter motor rebuild
    - Oil cooler o-rings (currently leaking)
    - Refinish ZCP steering wheel trim
    - BimmerWorld 82mm bullet-nose studs
    - BimmerWorld 10mm spacer kit for rear
