I've been an M3 guy for about 10 years now. I've had two E46 M3s and one E92 M3. The E46 M3 is my favorite platform to drive on the track. I've been to the Hockenheimring, Nurburgring, Buttonwillow, Willow Springs, and Laguna Seca. I used to live in Germany, but now I'm in Orange County, CA.

My new project is 2005 M3 (108k mi). I had been searching for a while and finally settled on this beast. It had seen better days I'm sure, but the last owner and dealership that sold me is M3 did me no favors. But more on that later...

The basic plan is to build a car similar to my last E46 M3 track car, except I'll be even more track-focused and dialed in. This will be a CSL clone, with race parts on top. I'll do most of the work myself, but will outsource the more difficult tasks to my local shop.
