Small update, I installed door seals that I bought off a forum member that still had the felt in tact. The originals had seen better days, no more wind noise and much better to look at. I also replaced the other busted fender liner. One B pillar cover to replace and the trim will be mint!

Next change will be an avin unit and the induktiv charger.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to add the auto function to the headlights? Is it just a new switch and some coding?

For auto headlights, you need the rain sensor behind the rearview mirror, a coded LCM, and switch.

Thanks for the info, fortunately I have the rain sensor so it shouldn’t be too much of a project.

Small update

slavik1988 sold me his old sunroof shade and today I tackled pulling off the sunroof glass, installing the shade and finding out why my shade was removed in the first place. When I received the car it was missing the shade completely.

Minor update:
Hit 1200 miles on the fresh rod bearings and changed the oil, spark plugs and fuel filter. This car is such a joy about 4500 RPM with the turner airbox.

Planning to ditch the off the shelf tune from Kassel and do a custom dyno tune with PCS now that the car is ready.

List of what has been done to date:

Rod bearings
Full Beisan Vanos (solenoid, hub, bolts, anti rattle, etc)
Subframe reinforcement plates
Fortune auto 500 Coilovers
Active Autowerkes section 3
Turner airbox v2
Kassel DME conversion
Kassel off the shelf tune
TTFS air rail and MAP sensor
Spark plugs
Fuel filter
Fresh tires
Paint correction
Ceramic coating
Refinished OEM 18”
New headlight lenses
New turn signals (clear)
Paint matched reflectors
New A,B,C pillars

Left to do:

Custom dyno tune
Recaro PP ABE
AVIN AVANT 4
Induktiv wireless charger
Wheel studs
Euro cats
Catless headers
CSL trunk (if price comes down)
…To be continued

Following this as I'm in the market for coilovers. I want an OEM+ ride, an occasional track day. I'd love some Ohlins, but want to keep cost under $2k. The Fortune Auto 500 are high on my list.
