TPMS - red light goes off with minimal change in pressure

Maybe a stupid topic but I find it very annoying. The red dash tire pressure light goes off about a week after I top up pressures and reset the light. It only takes 0.5psi drop and I get the red light. I never get the yellow/amber one by the way. it's red or nothing.

Is this normal? How much of a drop in pressures is needed for this light to go off. I find myself simply ignoring it for some time.

I reset it and get rid of the red light once I set tires pressures. What other reset is there?

How specifically did you reset it?

It works well and a week later, less than 0.5psi difference, boom...red light goes off. It's never the yellow.

Are your pressures varying same axle wheel to wheel? If not - I suggest you clean the wheel speed sensor(s).
