SMG CSL software and remembering A/S mode

I swear before I flashed my SMG DME with CSL software and coded SMG CSL parameters onto my engine DME, the car would remember if it was in sequential or automatic mode when I turned it off. Now it always starts up in automatic. Not the end of the world, but wondering if this is something that's documented or if there's something I'm missing?

There is a way to fix that with custom files... Olza wrote it up on the old forum. I don't remember the details off hand.

Maybe someone can recover it from caches. A/M fix would be interesting and changes in the final drive ratio. With changed final drive ratio it shift not that perfect.
