Not saying my wife redlines my car when it’s cold, but she definitely doesn’t allow my glow plugs to warm up on my diesel before starting and I’ve been telling her that for over 10 years haha. It would be a nice security to have, not just for my wife but for anyone. Would be interested in learning more on how to perform this function.Last edited by JeremyJames; 09-06-2022, 08:16 AM.

The best modification could be that the physical redline follows the lights. I think it will be an interesting modification.Last edited by MpowerE36; 09-05-2022, 02:01 PM.

You could use this with a fixed redline at 4k for when your wife is driving: http://www.msstuning.com/mssmapper.php
Even if it warms up she would still be stuck at 4k. You would just need to switch tunes before getting out of the car each time.

if it limited the redline, even better!!
My idea would was that all of the lights stay on @ 4k 100% of the time until about 80c is reached, in which they all turn off up to 8k from there.
To be honest, on cold start when the lights are sitting at 4k I don’t even know if that is a real limited redline or not. I usually don’t go over 3k until she’s warm.
