330 ZHP s54 swap obd2 inspection question

Gents,

What does the dmv actually look for when they do the obd2 inspection? My 04 sedan passed inspection however the shop had a few prompts from the obd2 computer that the car might get flagged by the dmv. I changed the ecu vin to match the car. What else do they look for? Thanks in advance!

Thanks. This is NY and it passed Inspection. Somehow the computer picked up that it wasn't the correct ms43 dme in there. Not sure what it looks for. I have set all of the vins correct Including the m3 cluster.
