$80 pa soft bmw scanner vs $28 Amazon iSaddle?

Looking at correcting the odometer to true mileage on the lcm after it went kaput and got replaced with a junkyard one. Looking at buy pa soft bmw scanner and it’s $80 with is ok, but came across this on amazon and was wondering what’s the difference? Dongle looks identical and software interface looks similar as well. Is this a knock off software? Just an old version that only works on windows xp? Or is it just marked up on the pa soft site?

I have a very old laptop running windows xp…..is there any benefit with going with the $80 website /latest version? Any latest “updates” I’d be missing considering I’m coding a 20year old car?

Keep in mind depending on the year of your e46 certain feature are not supported. I have an 2006 and can't code certain areas while others with earlier product dates can.
