Does anyone know whether the physical implementation of the PWM signal is low side or high side? For example, when the DME is commanding 75% duty cycle, does that mean the signal is low 75% of the time (low side) or high 75% of the time (high side).
Reason I ask is because I’ve found that many newer Ford vehicles use an almost identical fan controller from Bosch. It has the exact same 10-90% transfer function but it uses the low side pwm convention and I want to verify that it is compatible. These controllers can be found pretty cheap and when buying used you are getting a part that is 10-15 years newer.
