    PFC BBK Support?

Anyone running this kit? I know it's a quality kit, but curious how the parts support is. Still easy to find pads/replacement rotors/ caliper rebuilds etc? If so where are you buying from? TIA

Bimmerworld used to rep it - but I thought PFC was getting away from it (?)

Rotors and pads are still supported. Girodisc even has a replacement disc. Everything can still be purchased through Bimmerworld. PFC will make kits but they have to be purchased in excess of 10+

TACOM3EAT are you looking for a kit? I have a ZR45 kit I can sell with good rotors and 4 different sets of pads.

I've been running the Z45 on my E46 M racecar since 2018, and never have a problem finding pads or discs; or ever had an issue with the calipers. Pad compound options are less than I wish but I've run 11 for years and have just switched to 12 (improved 08) for next season.

Window shopping is probably more accurate, but would be curious about details! PM me 👍

Good to know, is the 12 a new compound? I've been a loyal 08 fan for years on my stock calipers

Not sure how new, but newer.

"PFC 12 Compound is a new generation endurance material. This pad provides medium friction that offers precise control to last a full 24 hour race, and even better disc conditioning than the 08 predecessor. 12 Compound offers improvements in durability, wear characteristics, and modulation over the already fantastic 08 Compound. For many applications, 12 will replace the 08 compound."

Historically, the number is the year the compound was developed. So the 12 is four years newer than the 08.
When a specific pad shape is released may be different.

Now with the 33x compounds, that's all out the window.

Here's a slightly dated summary of PFC compounds:
Does Performance Friction 12 Compound have more or less bite than 11? And where does the 93 Compound fit in? Learn to make sense of the different compounds at Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies.

I'm running this kit ZR45 front calipers w/ 355mm rorotrs and ZR34 rear calipers with 328mm rotors. There are still rotor options for front and rear along with pads. I'm running PFC 11 pads front and rear for track and Z-Rated for street.
