    Testing brake deflectors

I did some testing this past weekend with some send cut send made brake deflectors. Pretty simple, just need to notch the upper corners for clearance. Mounted to the control arm with a heavy duty zip tie. I've seen some deflectors available but never seen any actual results. Love that when tuners sell stuff that they don't know if it actually works. Should work, probably works, no idea why it wouldn't work...but never actually made sure it works.

Right side had a deflector, left side had nothing. I used a IR thermometer to measure rotor temps after a session.

    Session 1 - L 325F, R - 248F
    Session 2 - L 395F, R - 323F
    Session 3 - L - 469F, R - 404F

About a 65-70 degree difference which I think is really good from what I could find on the google machine. I think it will get better when I install splitter tunnels.

Very nice! Cool to see the numbers and difference that makes . I know a lot of people ziptie'ing these to various chassis.

Here is a video of the yarn tuft testing I did. Pretty cool seeing how hard the suspension works! It looks like the air is getting sucked into the center of the hub with quite a bit spilling over the edges. I wonder if there is a way to improve that.

I will install the left side, do some brainstorming and then more testing.
