      THIS IS SOLD

I have a fully refinished set of Titan/Black trims for sale which includes the following: Titan dash trims (3 pieces), steering wheel bottom piece, center console trim, front armrests (tops and bottoms), mirror switch blank, and rear armrests (tops and bottoms). All pieces were completely stripped, and refurbished using proper mix of factory matched Titan paint, with coat of primer, 2 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear, and a coat of sealant. The finish is exact match to factory Titan in look, feel, and sheen.

Factory soft-touch coating was stripped from all black pieces, and new, more durable coating was applied. It feels very similar to factory soft touch, but it won't peel-off and feel gummy or rubbery. It will be much more durable as well. There are no broken tabs, none of the mounting points are broken on the dash trims. I will assemble the armrest halves before shipping, so these will come in ready to put on the car.

This is a perfect matching set for all the trims to completely refresh your interior, at a fraction of the price it would cost to buy all these pieces new. Price is $650 plus shipping (should be around $45 in ConUS). PM or reply here if interested.

Alex, do you know if u.s. m3s came with any other color steering wheel trim than the typical black (dark dark grey)? Do you ever see different shades of factory steering wheel trim?

SMG cars had Titan Shadow lower steering wheel trim.

As far as I know, black and titan were the only colors offered on E46 M3/ZCP. Other E46 were offered with trims that sometimes matched other interior plastics (imola, topaz, etc)

Thanks guys! Trying to buy a blank upper trim piece and it looked pure black whereas my trim is very very dark grey imo. I think I can safely conclude it'll match.

Agreed Ian, that piece above looks OE Alex!

I can't re-finish this. The problem is not even in re-finishing, the problem is in stripping existing finish from the old piece - its too big to fit in the tub where I strip the parts. Plus, if I'm completely honest, I'd probably charge close to what it cost new for re-finish, so it makes very little sense not to buy these new.

I will be out all next week, so replies could be slow. Going hiking in the mountains so likely won't have connection.

Out of curiosity, can you do a set of E39 M5 trim? While the woodgrain is period-correct in my M5, I'd like to pull it (and save it) and replace it with something a bit more like the gunmetal/space gray. I've got a used set of silver trim with minor blemishes that'd be perfect to redo.

Yup, sure can, no problem. Just PM me which pieces you want re-done (I'm familiar with E39 - have an M5 in the stable myself) and we'll work something out.

                              Thanks!

I'm sad to announce that starting immediately I will be discontinuing service for gloss finishes. At the beginning of 2020 I lost access to a paint booth that was necessary to spray highly volatile and harmful glossy clearcoats, and the shop I was renting the booth from has closed its doors indefinitely, so I won't have access to their booth. Another loss due to COVID. Just flat and semi-flat finishes from now on.

Good thing is most of the finishes on BMWs are not gloss, and I still can do ZCP, Titan, Silver, black, etc and various soft touch finishes as well.
All PMs replied and all orders shipped.

                                Thanks!
