I've done silver trim before, but that was not a "match to existing" color type. The issue here is that I would have to get somebody to match the paint (a paint shop) and then buy at least a gallon of it (smallest they sell) and I would have to pass that cost to you, since I don't typically get orders for this color. So financially, this might not make sense.

I have an announcement to make, and its not a great one...
While I have been fixing busted and scratched up BMW trims for close to 10 years now, one thing remained consistent - the quality of my work. Another thing that also remained constant is the price - I have not changed my prices since BEFORE Covid, or almost 6 years now... During this time my suppliers have raised prices multiple times, and I just got a word that there is another price increase for primer, base, and clears coming in January.
So, at this point I can't continue to provide this service at current prices, so unfortunately - starting January 2026 I will be increasing my prices about 20% across the board. Just wanted to get this information out ahead of time in case some folks were planning on doing this, but were postponing for one reason of another.
Thanks again!BMW / E46M Interior & Trim Restoration.

Thanks man, yeah - NOT stopping! Just gonna be a bit more $$ starting next year.Originally posted by maw1124 View PostFor your level of work, a price increase is fine. The BAD news would have been if you were stopping altogether, which is what we usually get.
Keep up the good work!!
You should do leather next.
