Wanted to check to see if you're still unable to do glossy finishes? I started some of my trim with you and was hoping to wrap up the remaining pieces but now wondering what my option is for refinishing if you can't produce a piano black finish...

Correct. Still not able to do gloss. Unlikely to change any time soon.
In fact, I'm not sure how much longer I will be offering this at all.

Is there anything that can be done to refinish the pitting on the brushed aluminum trim that is for example on the inside arm rests?

No. Aluminum, or any other textured or milled metal finish can only be replaced.

                  Hi all,

With some of the interior bits going NLA or too expensive to buy new for the E46, I'm getting more and more messages about refinishing central consoles that are designed for the armrest (the long version). I'm happy to introduce refinishing service for that piece now. In addition, I will also offer refinishing of the rear ashtray bracket/support. Price to refinish central console is $120, and ashtray bracket $30. Please see pictures below and PM me if you would like to get yours re-finished for the summer. Same upgraded quality materials as for my lower armrest bits, so this should last quite a bit longer than stock parts too.

                  Central Console:

Hi Texaz3 — any chance you’d consider doing these rear bolster trim pieces? Seems like the same finish. These are the ugliest pieces on my car and are too damn expensive to bother replacing.

Yeah, I have done these in the past. So yeah, definitely. $35 a pop.

Just as heads up - shipping rates (USPS, UPS, and FedEx) are all gone up, so it is costing more to ship stuff around.
As a rule, whatever you paid to ship pieces to me would likely be the cost to ship them back +/-

Bump from another satisfied customer - refinished HVAC/ashtray panel and Euro center console insert - looks fantastic. Great communication on top of the great work.
