WTB: e46 m3 coupe for race build, mk60, no rust or chassis damage (Northeast USA)

    Need a new E46 M3 for a race build.

Looking around New England, north east, east coast....

Open to a range of cars from not running to a solid $25k car.

    - coupe
    - mk60
    - no rust
    - no damage to frame rails, racp, trailing arm pockets, etc.

    - cosmetics do not matter
    - i'll take a car as it sits or i can help you part out stuff that I don't need like interior, wheels, etc.
    - $15k - $25k range

Would a MK20 car be a deal breaker? I have an 2002 AW Slicktop (SMG) I may consider selling for $30K. I'm in MA

Yes, color and slick top and cosmetics matter nothing for my purposes.

I'm actually looking to part with my third E46 M3 near your highest number. Here's the listing in the forums: https://nam3forum.com/forums/forum/c...e-rod-bearings

I was planning to list it on other sites November 1st after I get it back for rod bearings end of this month, but it wouldn't hurt to put this out there if there was a buyer.
Located in Los Angeles, CA and can happily do a PPI at a nearby shop 91343.

Got it from my friend who owned it since 2017. Silbergrau on Black, 2003.5 E46 M3 (MK60), 6-speed converted with a CAE Ultra Shifter and DSSR, Clean title, California car all it's life, 150k miles, Sunroof, Subframe Reinforced in 2021, Rod Bearings done by Oct 31st. $30k in service, maintenance, and mods with all physical receipts documented on an Excel spreadsheet (attached below).
Stock headers, exhaust, and intake. Only mods are a CAE Ultra Short Shifter with CAE DSSR, Ground Control Coilovers with Race Camber Plates, and Eonon head unit.

All photos, documents, and Carfax is in this folder 🙂 https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...NA?usp=sharing

I have a few other extras I can add in the deal if you're interested:
        1. Pair of Sparco QRT-C bucket seats (Expired 2025) in great condition with Macht Schnell Clubsport Driver Side Floor Mount with Rails
        2. HRE R43 Fall-Line Motorsports 18x10 +22 in Brushed Clear.

Car is currently sitting on OEM Style 67s with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06.
I would trust this to be driven across the country, having taken it on a 1000 mile LA to SF roadtrip last month.

Feel free to shoot me a message if interested!

Nice looking car. Thanks for posting. I need one with no reported accidents...I've dealt with weird stuff before...ended up opening up the RACP, cut out a threaded subframe mount, and relocated it so it was square. GLWS

Hey everyone I’m super new to this forum. So I’m not sure if I can even post this here. I see that the gentleman who started the post is referring to a new e46 build so I figured it’s in the same genre.

im actually moving back to bmw after many years building and race air cooled 911. So I’m looking to do a full ground up e46 race build. Actually it will be on street duty about 15 percent. I’m looking for help to steer me in the right direction for a shop or private individual who can handle a bare tub build or if I was lucky enough to find one already newly built or slightly used relatively new build. I have some ideas for the engine and tranny but I need some pointing in the right direction to someone that can build it. Someone obviously fare and honest that knows their shit. I’m in New Jersey so easy coast would be great but not mandatory.

any help would be amazing. Anthony
