Alright so it looks like I would be able to change this (an SMG cluster):

Into this (an SMG cluster with that insert):

Which looks the same as a cluster from an original 3 pedal car:

That is correct. Still have 2 available.

If you just completed an SMG to Manual swap and want that final piece to make the car feel more OE manual, this is the factory insert on manual clusters that covers up the gear position screen.
