    WTB: MSS54/HP

Looking to buy a DME. Both non-HP or HP are fine, but must not be a conversion. Non-HP might be better, as those tend to go for less money.

Any sort of defect that will lower the price of the unit (but not affect functionality) is welcome. Damaged case? Stripped screws/threads? Bricked DME from flashing an incorrect binary? All good with me.

If you've got a bricked one that needs to be recovered via BDM and you'll let go of for cheap, even better

    Background:
I have a converted MSS54 that I'm having issues getting the emissions monitors to work on. Works completely fine otherwise. I need a stock DME exclusively to pass smog, which is why I'm looking for the cheapest possible one I can get my hands on. I realize this might be a long shot, as these tend to be expensive, but I figured it was worth a try.
