    That's fine, I never told you not to. You mentioned wanting to paint them which has nothing to do with replacing seals. You can take the original ones out, then put them back in after painting if you wished.

    And if you're wondering why you'd do that and not use centric or some other aftermarket seal kit, it's because the brembo seals are superior. How many miles do the calipers have? Test them with a bike pump or compressed air. Condition of boots? I know you said you're gonna change seals anyway, so these can be rhetorical if you want. This post can serve as advice to other readers perhaps.
