    WTB: A & C Pillar Trims (Coupe)

Looking for a set of black A & C pillar trims for the coupe before buying new.

Mine have unglued and I hear you can’t repair these.

I was going to buy new ones and saw someone said to reglue them with a glue stick lol. I was skeptical but it's still holding up and I haven't had to buy new ones yet.

Interesting - my upholstery shop was telling me the adhesive would seep through. It's worth a try! I'm eyeing SPG XLs to replicate what you did btw, glorious job on that interior.

Technically you can repair, just not with the old fabric. Order new fabric the fabric is (BM-3109) It is an unbacked 100% match to factory headliner/ pillar material.
If you want to redo your, headliner, while you are at it order BM-134 as that is foam-backed.

A typical fabric adhesive probably would because the material is so thin. But a regular glue stick doesn't seem to and dries clear. Whether or not it holds up over time is dubious haha, but if you're gonna buy new anyway... Worth a shot.

Thank you mate, I look forward to seeing what you do with it. PY on mtex is a mega combo, and tbh the condition of your mtexture looks to be better than most.

Thank you for the insights. I will absolutely give both solutions a shot.

            Off to Staples it is.

I agree, get reupholstered. I would not buy used as they’ll be old glue and these A/C pillars twist when removing and installing. That on old glued fabric will just peel in short time. Over the years on my E46s I have reapplied myself and it holds for a while. Even bought low mileage used. I now just get them redone, the glue used by bmw is environmentally safe and not that great. Upholstery shops can do wonders. Since your project is going to have a CF roof maybe now would be time for Alcantara headliner project.

This is a good DIY video and references a product/glue that seems to be "pro" grade.
