That's a great deal considering those springs are $170 alone from Eibach.

I am confused how the threaded adapter interfaces with the reinforcement plate and the little post in the suspension arm.

The red cylinder and gold perch sit over the red reinforcement plate which all sit on top/around the "nipple" of the lower control arm. Then the cad plated bolt and big washer go from the underside of the control arm up into the red cylinder to tighten it down. Then the spring sits on top of the gold perch, obviously. Up top, you can use a locating cone like GC sells or RE ($60 iirc) or even just use the stock rubber upper pad.

Also, these springs are a little special and are actually $105 each! They provide for a little more travel before blocking than a typical standard 6" linear spring.
