Do you have a part number, or is this a genuine OE boot that's been cut from the shift knob? I assume it's sold to Max, but I'm just curious as I didn't think the boot was available, separatly.

Looks like a genuine M3 piece but with the knob cut off. The genuine boot-only part came on non-M cars and it looks different - it has only two stitched lines instead of 4. It is no longer available but you can find them used on e-bay.. here's an example: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/165801525227...Bk9SR6TKy76cYQ

PS. Not to hijack thread but if anyone is looking to replace worn out knob but reuse original boot meaning you lose the lighted feature anyways, I highly recommend the weighted 'gooseneck' knob P/N 25117896884. Looks identical to OE, same height, but weighted like the ZHP unit and much nicer to shift in my opinion. Best part is the price - only $90 compared to the OE knob/boot combo which is now $500!!!

Don't have part number, I think this is original broomstick with knob cut off.
It is sold now - thanks!

I've been touting the M performance knob ..884 for many years now! I don't care for illumination, so it works for me.
