Customer service is horrendous with Mile end. I bought a bumper from him and looking for another and he never responds to my text. Was also looking for a diffuser and csl trunk from them. To be clear, this has nothing to do with the OP. Just stating my experience with mile end themselves.

Did you deal directly with him?

You bought a fiberglass bumper pre-Covid from Dee514/Mile End on RIP M3forum.net. Than you tried to contact Mile End between 2020 & 2023 when Mile End website was shut down. Dee514 wasn’t responding to anyone anymore during that period neither on Instagram or Facebook. It means their was simply no ‘’production’’ or Mile End anymore. Dee514 is the guy who start Mile End and he doesn’t have time anymore to do it with his career and family. He is still posting pictures on Instagram once in a while now.

JC is the guy who build the parts and has is own compagny. He is not a BMW guy and not on this forum. He has local customer here in Montreal area. He was still working during those years but wasn’t doing CSL parts.

The mold for the diffuser has come to it’s end after lots of parts made pre-covid. A new mold has to be made and hasn’t been made yet. JC has no employee so he do everything himself. He still have bumpers to do but he wants to do a new mold.

Mile End has no mold for CSL trunk. JC has to do it too.

If you want to get better customer service, buy from Vorsteiner or Status Gruppe who have employees and actually have a customer service department.

Vorsteiner just release a new batch of CSL bumper, trunk & diffuser. You will be able to buy all 3 at same time.

So just to make it clear, every parts made by JC/Mile End will be for sell on this forum ONLY. I personnally don’t have an Instagram nor Facebook account and prefer THIS forum so will keep selling the very low production parts available to enthusiasts by enthusiast!

Also, Mile End won’t make fiberglass parts anymore. We decided to make everything in carbon fiber. We don’t have the capacity to do volume so instead of being bury of pm and messages from peoples on 3-4 differents platforms and having people complaining they can’t have parts, we will only do CF so people looking for cheaper options can check with other brands for faster delivery too.

I don’t want to get into a discussion here and ruin your thread by disputing what you have written here.
I do however stand by my comments.
with that said, his work is fantastic. I wish it was easier to purchase directly from Mile end as many “locals” would be interested and it run like a legitimate business. Would be great for the community.

I am not trying to argue with you, you are 100% right. Dee had shut down the website and stopped answering people so it’s normal people got upset. There was litterally no more Mile End before I asked JC for bunch of CF parts for my Alpine White M3 that I was supposed to do a full lightweight/track oriented build with before selling it. Decided to keep my LSB instead and got the parts 9 months later… I spend so much time lurking this forum so it’s not a problem for me to sell some parts for JC at the same time.

Pretty much none of the ‘’local’’ 5-600km away from Mtl guys contacted me and I sold 1 bumper in Canada so far so what can I do for the community??? I will continue to sell parts here on a first come first serve priority, Canadian or US buyer. To me community is this forum. Without this forum (or RIP M3forum.net), so much valuable infos are lost and it’s not on Facebook, Instagram or a Whatapp group that you will find answers while wrenching or troubleshooting your E46 M3!

The community I was referring to was the forum but Fair enough. Best of luck on the bumpers although you won’t need it because they really are the best on the market. Sorry for derailing your thread.

I regret passing one of these up a few months back. Any idea if JC will be making any more?

JC had/has jobs to do for local customers and is a bit late on schedule right now

He still has to do the 3 bumpers for next batch in January but you can be the 4th on the list.

Once we won’t have anybody waiting for a bumper, we are starting new mold for the diffuser and also lightweight 3-pieces cabin filter housing

Awesome. Please consider me fourth on the list then — I’m in for sure. Payment ready whenever

edit: that cabin filter housing is going to be tempting too but this is going to eat my mods budget for the year!

For those that don't follow Mile End, he made me a custom one to match the forged bits on my car... JC absolutely killed it on this. I can't wait to get it painted.

I realize the forged carbon isn't for everyone, but I think it looks dope.
