    FS: 1/18 E46 M3 Die-Cast Miniature Model Car - $250

    Hi all,

I have several of these models, so I'm selling one. These models were made by a company called Kyosho back in the early 2000s, and sold through BMW dealers when E46 M3s were new. They are pretty hard to find today, and one of the best E46 M3 models made to date.

This particular model is near mint, but has some factory flaws in the paint. There is some "paint rash", which are very tiny bubbles in the surface of the paint on the hood and driver's door. This is a very common problem on these models, due to contaminants getting on the surface of the metal before paint. It is hardly noticeable, but there if you look close enough. No imperfections otherwise.

Model is a Euro-spec 6-speed manual and no, the VANOS, subframe and rod bearings have not been done 😂

Going rate on eBay is around $300, so I'm asking $250 shipped in the USA for this one.

    Comes with the original box.

Very cool. I think this might an Individual with the wood trim. Does that have lumbar controls?

      Kyosho models are top notch.

In all seriousness, is wood trim an individual type thing? I have a carbon black E46 vert and it has wood trim. The window sticker says it was a $600 option or something.

Very cool model! Wonder what it would bring on BAT?

I think it could be ordered on M3s in Europe, not sure you could get it in the US.

All good, if you go on eBay there is a company called Otto that makes one as well. That one is made of resin (not metal) and does not open though.

Not much, because I'd get flamed for VANOS, rod bearings and subframe not being done

ABS unit is located in passanger drug bin and front strut towers look like E36 strut towers so this is an early 2001or pre-production model. It must have the aluminum rebar too. So rod bearings must been done during recall.

What’s the mileage on this? Inspection 2 already done?

What is aluminum rebar? I'm familiar with the other stuff, but never heard of aluminum rebar before.

Delivery mileage only - car is as new 😂 and an excellent deal. It is 18 times smaller, but 100 times cheaper than a real M3.

Probably referring to the front bumper support.

Let's be real, that car would fetch more than $25,000 on BaT. This is a deal, hope somebody hops on it.
