If your finish end up looking better than mine, then I will want an exchange lol. If you already pre-ordered I assume it’ll look like how mine does (finish wise at least)

try sliding it back a bit. we had to leave little play if we didn't you would not be able to remove the unit.

as far as finish goes we wanted to keep the unit raw plastic if possible to prevent wear and make the unit last.

I did that but no luck. Even when I push it down it doesn’t close the gap

Anybody else’s OCD ticking after noticing the U logos pointed in different directions? I can’t unsee it now.

the cup holder is removable for cleaning and can be reversed.

Got mine installed. Everything works as described. Phone charges well. Connectors are plug and play.

Fit and finish is far from perfect lol. Not bad, but not good either.

This one section on passenger side has small gap, not noticeable unless you look at it eye level. Overall the added feature and cup holder is good enough for me to want to keep it on.

Other than the fitment issues, I think it look substantially less like a prototype if you remove that weird 3D-printed-esq liner from the cup holder.

Mike knows exactly where its going and what the factory BMW finish is. Its too bad its still well far off from blending in.

Still, I'm not gonna touch my wiring harness to install this, so thankfully I have the 18-pin connector that mates to the eject box connector (in question).

Do you have a part number for the connector?

As far as the pre-ordered units when we recieved they were not perfect and had to make changes to each and every one as we posted about. the next batch of 100 pieces will have all changes done by factory.

Does this mean those of us who preordered got the bad batch? Please clarify. Thanks
