Catless headers really make this exhaust scream. Having just added euro headers, it's a badass exhaust. I love mine. Not sure how I feel about the price, but it only helps me in the future if I were to sell, so capitalism will continue!
I swear I've never understood people flaming or getting upset or arguing a sellers price for a item or service. As a seller you have the RIGHT to price a item or service for as high or as low as you desire. As a buyer you have the RIGHT to pay, pass or haggle that price for as long as the seller entertains you. It's called business ladies and gentleman, if you can't wrap your head around that concept then you belong in a socialist economy, I.E Cuba, China or North Korea.
There's no harm seeing what you can get for a rare item. Frankly, the people that deserve to be flamed are the ones that'd PAY that much for it... $3-4k for an exhaust that still doesn't make the S54 sound good.

Absolutely, negotiation is a vital part of life, from getting a job, a car, or even a girlfriend. If people don't take a chance on bargaining or asking that hottie in accounting out, they're falling behind, paying more, and settling for mediocrity.
After the year we've all been having since covid.....i needed a good laugh! thanks brother! Honestly tho...good luck with sale. You'll never know unless you ask.

Right, you clearly haven't heard it or driven with one lol. This exhaust makes the S54 sound exotic, harmonic, and aggressive. An E63 M6 owner told me that my S54 now sounds better than his S85 lol (I disagree as I also own an E60 M5 with Eisenmann Race) but this exhaust definitely puts the S54 in the same league as a header/exhaust S62.
Love it or hate it, it's a rare item for a appreciating platform. Like with most things in life, exhausts are subjective and so is the value of any item.

Right, actually, I have.
Plenty of exhausts sound great when you're getting on it up top and don't care about the volume. I would say Supersprint still sounds the best by that measure, but the original Scorza and the Dixis are certainly good in that regard. I won't dispute that.
But day to day, under normal driving, with low RPM included, there is no muffler for this car that sounds "good." Certainly not good enough to warrant a significant expense, even if your definition of good is "loud/aggressive." The best solution for this car is a quiet muffler and a CSL airbox.

Any S54 modification, CSL airbox included, still falls well short of the same ballpark, league, or even sport of a properly set up S62.
Lest it sound like I'm shit-talking the S54, I should point out that I own five of them. It's an incredible motor. It's just not meant for sound.
Having only owned two E46 M3's since 2004 and trying a variety of exhausts, the Dixis has been the only one that people have consistently offered to buy over the years. Go figure. 🤷♂️
