It's SOR or did you sell ?Originally posted by HFLagos View PostNope the 27k one.
It's clear what Hexagon's approach to pricing is for their 4 CSLs and on the other side there's about 5-6 CSLs for sale which have not shifted in the last few months.
Will be interesting to see how things work out.

This is a good thing!! I got in just in time on my 964 rs 7 years ago, I think I done very well getting Csl last November at what I consider there rock bottom priceOriginally posted by LeinsCSL View PostI presume these all had oil changes inbetween the official BMW servicing :119: I know it ticks the "FBMWSH" box, but I've never been much of a fan of cars sitting around with 3-4 year old oil myself
They're certainly throwing themselves into the CSL market lately though, which can only be a good thing. Sorry to the prospective buyers, but sellers should now start pricing relative to this (I need to bridge the gap to a 964 RS somehow
)
I think Csl will be at over new price in next few years, might take a while but will happen and that's for average to high miles cars,ps I'm not trying to willy wave I just know most in here respect both cars very similar as I do,am proud to have what I consider to be best fun cars on the planet... Just my thoughts!!
And very happy to see as much price increases as possible:whistle:

Not sure really. I loved my CSL, still do. Life's too short though, have to try other things. I'm happy to have owned some of the cars I did but if I'd never sold them and stuck with them all this time that would have been a shame too.Originally posted by Mike R View PostWhat's next?
Originally I had been thinking of getting a CLK Black Series, in fact I was with the chap from Hexagon in the CSL when I saw the one I was interested in at Romans International was no longer on their forecourt! But the deal with Hexagon was such a win-win for both parties that I went ahead with the sale.
Couple of days later I went on holiday and spent plenty of time thinking about next purchase. Still undecided.
It won't be the Black though. Probably air cooled Pork.
Or another CSL (because I have a hunch prices will fall, nothing is selling right now). :gayfight:

Wow
This is nearest mine, although mine is about to just turn 35k, and of course, one careful lady owner for just over 9 years- it's advertised for more than I paid for it in May 2004 !!!!!!
Thing is... it makes me want to drive it less and less the more the prices rise. I don't know why, as I don't want to sell.. but it makes me think twicebefore putting any more mileage on it and as parts become rare and more expensive, the thought of someone doffing it is also a worry.
But it is very exciting to see the prices so high! I knew we had something special with the CSL!
Oooooo imagine if I had gone ahead with the S4 cab we had a deposit on.. be worth nothing now! Was worth losing the deposit for!

there is no reason to say the CSL will drop in price ( normal market as opposed to inflated dealers ) , unless the whole market falls .... personally I see it as BMW's equiv of the Porsche 964 / 993 RS
.. but prices going up is a double edged sword for those of us who bought them to drive .... focussing on their value & 'what if it drops if I add mileage' removes the pleasure . Having had mileage sensitive porsches in the past , I was determined to get a CSL I could drive & enjoy .. 62K miles & increasing
Gone through a similar situation with my 1973 Porsche .... gone up to daft levels over the last 10 years .... but after much thought realised what makes me smile is driving ... so still keep on driving it , doing european tours etc, adding the miles & adding the patina
, if I didn't whats the point of having the car ?

That is Donk’s car, sold it to a guy in Devon I think, he didn’t drive it much, there’s only about 1k more miles on it.Originally posted by sailorbaz View PostThat was the Donks' old car, from over here in Northern Ireland. Think he sold it about 18 months ago, where is it now? Hexagon for sale again?
