Just that clutch is always grey area.Originally posted by Dan View PostWhy do you feel this Shim, because of the screws that have supposedly been tightened on them at the moment?
I found that wording you referred me to in the email I got from them as well so will be highlighting this to Adrian when he calls tomorrow!
Ask for the plate if they refuse and get a firm reason.
Good luck, you'll prob be fine

You may need to fight this one Dan. Be prepared. My guess is they will offer goodwill free parts and 50% labour but if you have warranty I'd stick it out.

Thanks to Brett for pointing me in the direction of this thread, my car is now in at Murkett's for Clutch Slur but initially the guy was hesitant of whether or not it would be covered, after speaking with Brett and Shimmy I've now instructed Murkett's to pull it all apart and hope to god that it's not worn beyond the limit! :bigcry: :banghead:
Thanks to those that have helped with advice at the moment, Adrian is meant to be calling me tomorrow or Weds so I'll report back on their findings, I've get everything I can cross crossed! :hahaha:
Just a shame Andy is in sick as I'm sure it would have been done a lot easier as he has the knowledge, just a quick question as well, would it be a good idea to make sure that they replace my flywheel if the claim goes through or will they do this as a matter of course now?

I never leave messages as you only know they recieved them if they return your call, and how do you know they recieved said message if they dont return your call.
One of the reasons I dont have voicemail on my mobile. If its that important they will call back:thumbs:
