Shane, you have to do Akrapovic full system and map. The sound is stunning and like I said, with cat back system and the correct map it's very noticeably quicker.

One of the drawbacks was how much gear is to buy for them, 4k for an exhaust is fookin nuts.

I heard from the guys who are fixing the Evo today.
Gearbox is all sorted, and they are going for a rebore and fitting 0.5mm oversized pistons in. As soon as I get it back its up for sale.
Just need to decide what to buy.
The problem with having to time to think means pistonheads/tautotrader is getting a battering, and new cars are creeping into the mix.

BMW rang me today with a px price on the evo against a dakar edition, a very good price if Im honest and they knocked a few quid of their car too.
Just need to get the Evo back and sold, or back to standard then part ex.
Not rushing into this one though, the evo is going before I get another car.

Took a "borrowed" CSL out later, but in all honesty the track seems as good as, must be a bit better as my mate Buzzer on here, USED TO OWN THE Pinnacle CSL which is now Andos, banged in PB iN the GT3 OF 8:12, STARTED THE DAY ON 8:23 SO IT WORKED FOR HIM ! FOK FOOOKITY FOKK CAPS BOLLOX !

Buzzer finished the day on a 7.59 in the gt3 rs. Can't beleive I missed this weekend. Heard it was a bit of a large one!

There is a Dakar Edition owned by a local guy to me, must admit I drive by dribbling! :drool:

The Monte Carlo Blue is quite different too :thumbs:

V8 Purchase

I had a v8 dct for 12 months inbetween my 2nd & 3rd Csl. I am with you on the need to buy the v8, it was something i just had to do despite the pro's & con's. Depreciation is the real sickener with the v8. 10K in 12 months!!
Having owned both the e92 & the mighty csl it's the latter everytime but i had to own and drive both to reach this conclusion. my wife would not come within 10 metres of the garage with the csl parked up.... couldn't get her out of the e92. the gearbox is superb and it's so refined you almost forget you're in the flagship M car.

Just bought the little girl a new suzuki lt50 quad. I think I will just have fun and enjoy my time out on that with her. Less to go wrong and 1k new.

































Dont worry Shim, ill be in something by July, need to be for ring trip and my sakhir membership is still untouched as of yet. Not going to be something flash though.
