The standard 997 GT3 took all the best bits over from the 996 Gt3 RS, so yes the 7 is better, but Terry's is RS spec and beyond.Originally posted by 83SY View PostA standard 996 GT3?
Would u agree the 997 is a far better car?
Yes the 7 is the better car for going fast. But some say its lost a bit of purity compared to the 6. I prefer the 997. And yes its better. But the 6 are still fricking mega.

Depends what you want it for. For hardcore and trackdays then I would say 996 every day. More raw feel and feels more like a race car. But a 997 would be much better on the road and for European driving tours. But give me a 996 at the Ring/Spa any dayOriginally posted by 83SY View PostA standard 996 GT3?

Cheers for the comments chaps, it's exactly what I expected and more now I've started to get to grips with it... looking forward to growing with it over the coming months / year or so ... I also feel much more with it as a daily now I've pushed it to its limits on track, so all in all a cracking day out !...
Sounds mint on full chat too :smt055
