Not decided yet Shimmy, but Britcar has a new head at the wheel in Claire Hedley which has to be an improvement over Tucker. That said, there is still the ERS to be considered, along with the usual 360MRC events which I commend to anyone with a racecar.
Matt is putting my E36 aero back to stock Shimmy/ONeill, so that racing with you guys in CSCC is also an option. Unlike you guys, Im not interested in competing in a Championship.. been there, won that !:blalalala::beer:

Danny still has the Mini but thats for sale, there was talk of getting a Supra Copra, but as things stand at the moment its the E36 for me if anything.
Thats a point, licence renewal time, MSA says from Thursday 20th Nov !! .. except that the 20th is Friday :banghead:

Mk5 Golf, one make series. www.productiongti.com

Awesome cars, with a truely rediculous amount of torque. Cheap to build and run too.

Few of cars we are looking after and I should be driving a few of them at different events

                Testing today at Silly GP

Only did maybe 10 laps each Inc running in two diffs, but had a great time with a instructor and O'Neill and Tracktoys in support ....... Talked ourselves faster!

So Silverstone National yesterday.........with CSCC MOdern Classics

                    Negatives
We both cant get used to no brake servo/no abs/no pedal feel
Cant seem to fidn anythuing wrong with pedal box, must be our braking
We both keep locking up on some areas braking
I keep flat spotting tyres (not 100% just me)
Our braking and corner entry times are wank
Overall laptimes are not better than 2015 at about 1:04.7/8
Went off and broke splitter and oil cooler in testing
Barry got rear ended by a lapped porsche which lost us 40secs from a 20 sec lead

                    Positives
Our corner exit and acceleration show a 0.8s gain (means corner entry is 0,.8s worse)
                    Race craft is improving
                    Car keeps singing.....
We got a 2nd in class and 3rd overall.

Not at all positive as we were hoping for an improvement to 2015 as we have the intrax. So big decision time. Do we dumop the pedal box and go back to M3 brake pedals/cylinder and abs with servo or stick with the pedal box and buy a whole load of tyres

Gotta be sorted for Spa in June

We were running rs29, now rst3 but front disc temps are circa 300def instead of 400+ so may be not helping braking or at least my feel of the brakes

We changed cylinder size from Snett mainly to get firmer pedal so we can heal and toe.

Not sure what else to do. Could it be pads, cylinder, temps, our driving an slack of sympathy!

You'll get there Shim. No servo and ABS is quite something to get used to. Completely different pedal feel and modulation. I'd give it more testing to get round it.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Mrs wanted me about as been a busy boy recently and really needed some home time. Spa in June sounds fun, might tag along for kicks.
