barry set a great qualifying time yesterday in the dry, you only get 30 mins qualifying which with out lap, in lap, driver change and out lap only works out bout 6 flying laps. We had 3, and one of Barry's 2 was 2m48.9

race today was wet but drying, we started on pole, ended up 3rd at change over (missed gear and two fast cars in the wet ahead. After driver change we were 3rd overall, one ahead broke down but the lotus esprit who was already managed to get in front of the safety car so gained a lap on us, so win was impossible.

so I battled with a v8 Morgan and 928, both with about 900kg, one has 400bhp.

ended up 1st in class, 2nd in Modern Classics race, 3rd overall (the race is a series of races pulled into one event
