Resurrection!! Funny, took a couple of minutes this morning to figure out how to remove these. It isn't hard once you figure it out but not straight forward. I was curious, found this video afterward. I've worked on some DAMN expensive cars and try not to break anything. Break a clip like that on an Alfa

and you're making one. I was shocked by all the grief you gave the fella who made this video. Sure the clips are cheap but it's nice not to break them.

I come from the Italian car side and you need to try and preserve things like

clips that are NLA. I was working on the oil system for an F40 and needed to remove a special retainer/ clip. OHHHH I didn't want to break that part.

similar thing but it's probably NLA or $300.

Big ups for the video. Most don't need it, but most will replace the clips anyway.

No good deed goes unpunished. I don't understand how people who are active and help the community get crap for it. Too many people seem to forget what it was like when you first started working on cars. And I won't be surprised if I get a crack for saying this, but I haven't brought my cars to a mechanic in 9 years (and won't anymore for anything mechanical) and I'll admit I couldn't tell how these worked. Plus Pelican is out of stock on these because so many of you guys are evidently breaking them.

      Thanks for the post!

This video would have been pretty helpful when I did my radiator a while back...

I managed to undo these without breaking them, but it took me probably 15 minutes to figure out how they worked the first time I removed them, and would probably take close to that long to figure it out again without the help of this video...

        Nice work as always, Cal...

I hate those things and always end up breaking them so I just made a bunch of radiator brackets out of aluminum and got them ceramic coated haha
