Ok, also I have a question. Most of my friends say my car would look better without the spoiler, whats your opinion on that. They say that I have a black rear visor that doesn't go with the spoiler and or look better without it, plus I don't have a 3rd light on it .Originally posted by badgthoYes. As long as they are coupe lights.
Be careful installing the corner lights as the depo tabs are very very very Brittle.

Ya but mines is not a factory spoiler, I think its called a BMW Motorsport Spoiler as it is written on it.Originally posted by EricSMGI think the coupe looks considerably better with the factory spoiler. Sedan looks better without.
Happy medium is the 46M lip spoiler. I'll be adding that soon.

dude, 8 pages and your still posting here? that deserves some merit..Originally posted by Alpine E36Haha think your funny
those depo headlights seem to be fine for the people that buy them, just dont play with them after install the plastic breaks according to forum consensus. id save my money an put some miles on that car an see where that gets you. it might need money thrown at things other then the way it looks....... that car got hit hard you have no idea what was replaced and with what or wtf is going on with the car from the same perspective as the average m3forums poster. id throw some used oem parts at the car an see how many parts break over then next few miles and come to your conclusions, see if it kills tires, if it will align, if it wont over heat, what clunks, ect.
search this forum, its a very knowledgeable resource. and a general rule of thumb is be prepared to buy the car twice, the reason you see maintenance written all over this forum is because these cars need it, its does not play well with the fix it when it breaks school of thought.

That looks like a BMW factory spoiler, although they do make replicas of it. Your car didn't come with it originally if it has the 3rd brake light in the rear window, so it must have been added later and the brake light disabled and painted black.
I agree that coupes look good with it and sedans look better without. All in all its a matter of taste.

Some of the early E36 rear wings did not have a third brake lamp, and instead had a black strip with the words "BMW MOTORSPORT" written in white.

It appears that your rear wing is a genuine early E36 wing without the third brake lamp, as seen in the brochure photo above, but it's hard to tell from your photo (which I've copied below).
My opinion - leave the rear wing, and remove the rear roof spoiler.
