What type of oil do you use?

What brand/type of oil do you use in your ///M3? I'm just curious if there is a certain type that most people use.

I use BMWs oil cause I can get it at work for a 1/2 decent price. But thats actually castrol oil. Which I like.

me and 97blk just put some 0w-40 in the ol' PPL ETR and it is actually running much stronger than before.. probably a) because it has plenty of oil now and b) because its a heavier oil.. definitly likes it at low rpm's now..

The shop I recently had the car serviced at installed Amsoil 10W40. In my other car I have put my trust in Mobil One 10W30 mixed evenly with 20W50 to give a blend hopefully around 15w40. It looks clean as a whistle inside the cam cover at 90,000 miles

I dunno. I get it from my mechanic at a discount so it's not any more expensive.

went through most major oil brands and weights, comes down that nothing can even come close to German imported Lubro Moly synthetic 5w40.. burns way less, stays cleaner, lasts longer, car sounds better, etc.. what more do you want from oil.. it's also recomended by bmw, vw and porsche.. from what i hear now more and more people are switching to Lubro Moly and liking the results

I think I'm going to give Lubro Moly a try. I bought my car from a dealer not long ago, but I think I'll go ahead and change it to have a peice of mind that there is good stuff in it. Where is the best place to buy it at? Do you think a parts store could have it specialy ordered for me?

dudes...I've been using Lubro-Moly...as Romh pointed out...this stuff is good shiet man...trust me on this one!....the high end rides...ie, Porsches' and Ferraris' use this in their engine....

...and yes, there is a difference that you can feel....engine idles smoother, burns cleaner, lasts longer...and as I mentioned previously...and that NO ONE even alluded to...but since I've been using this Puppy(Lubro-Moly)...it's drastically reduced that annoying, irritating, worry some tick-tack-slap-clapping sound that we all dread hearing.....

...she's definitely quieter....man, I stickin' with Lubro-Moly dudes....trust me on this one compadres.
