Er, Ah,....I have a stupid question:

According to the Geocities link "Two, the rotor hats won't conduct as much heat to the wheel bearings". I assume that this is because of the interface between the aluminium hat and the braking surface (since aluminum has greater heat conductivity than the friction part of the rotor) Regardless, wouldn't thermally "isolating" the braking surface diminish it's ability to dissapate heat? I realize that the euro's do work and are well engineered, I am just taking issue with that reason for their increased performance.
