Matter of opinon really. I like the look.. duh, or I wouldn't have gotten them.

Wsmc: You can consider the euro lights a safety improvement over the US lamps. They get the light out to where its needed, and do it more effecently IMO.

What exactly is the difference between original stock and euro lights? Are the euro lights simply brighter?

The euro lights are projectors instead of just a bulbs. So, they disperse at wider angles and shine up and to the right a lot to light up farther away signs...it's a nice touch.

They really are much much better. Did you ever notice your stock lights only go about 2 feet out.

Light pattern is much better and very defined, and more light gets to the road. The acutal light housing is a much higher quality than the US lights too. Glass vs Plastic for the outer lens.

I realize I may become an outcast because of this thread. Am I the only one that finds angel eyes on an e36 ugly? I think it looks ricy It belongs on the 5-series IMO.

I totally agree with you BMW4LIFE......they don't fit the body style. Personally, I think their just the latest gimmic or fad...kinda like the Euro turnsignal clear lenses. However, I must confess, I did purchase the factory Euro Elipsoid's headlights. The look IMO fits the E36 perfectly and the lighting is a huge improvement over the factory plastic lense crap.

My age will show with this comment, but todays the hotrodder kids will first spend money on the body before ever seriously touching the engine. I was and am the exact oposite. The engine comes first, then the body.

I think Angel Eyes should stay on the E39.

I reckon angel eyes are the dogs bollocks and truthfully i reckon they only look right on BMW's any of them. I'm sure i've seen angel eyes on a E30 once.

The angel eyes just add a hint of more aggression to the front of the car and really give the car a charector.
